Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD wraps production on series finale
TVLine brings word that Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD has officially wrapped production on its series finale. It was announced at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con that the ABC series would come to an end after Season 7.

The two-hour Season 6 finale will air this Friday, and the final season will premiere in 2020. With Tuesday marking the final day on set, cast members Clark Gregg and Ming-Na Wen, as well as co-showrunners Maurissa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon, shared throwback photos and emotional goodbyes, which you can check out below.

The series was co-created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, who also serve as executive producers along with Jeffrey Bell and Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory.
