Designated Survivor Season 3 Recap
Season 3 brought a new national security threat, this time amidst President Kirkman’s reelection campaign. After the show’s , we’re recapping the season’s main storylines to close out and say goodbye (again) to the political drama.
Reelection at All Costs
President Kirkman ran for reelection as an independent, against the odds. He hired the savvy Lorraine Zimmer to be his campaign manager and named Aaron Shore as his running mate. Lorraine used illegal surveillance technology to spy on conservative opponent Cornelius Moss. When Emily discovered it and went to Kirkman right before the election, he uncharacteristically sat on the information to win. The FBI arrested Lorraine shortly after. As a handsome Latino VP candidate, Aaron helped Kirkman take Texas, Moss’ home state. His relationship with Isabel Pardo was popular, but after he cheated on her with Emily, they still needed to play their parts. Isabel’s promotion to Deputy Chief of Staff helped her realize she deserved better.
RIP Hannah Wells
Season 3 saw the death of FBI-agent-turned-CIA-analyst Hannah Wells. Uncomfortable with a desk job, Hannah stumbled onto a plan to engineer a virus that would leave people of color sterile, effectively changing voting demographics in the long term. The virus engineer, Wouter Momberg, murdered Hannah, but authorities thwarted the plan. Moss’ biggest donor, Detwiler, financed the plan and his operative hired Momberg.
Emily’s Mother
Emily had stepped away from the White House to help her mother, Carrie, who was sick with cancer. At Carrie’s insistence, Emily went back to work and chose to join the campaign to keep an eye on Lorraine. However, Carrie visited Emily because assisted suicide was legal. Eventually, Emily mercifully helped Carrie end her life.
Prescription Addiction
Mars Harper, Kirkman’s Chief of Staff, was living with a wife, Lynn, addicted to painkillers. After a scare that sent her to the hospital and then to rehab, Mars focused on FlagKind, Detwiler’s pharmaceutical company that made the drug she was addicted to. After Detwiler went down, Mars convinced Lynn that she should run for her father’s congressional seat.

A popular lesbian couple has left family and friends in shock after they died just days apart—one from complications related to cancer, the other from suicide.
Giovanni Doll a.k.a. GigiBaby and Jay Dor (names they go by on Facebook) were both from Detroit and have the whole social media talking about their sad love story.
Here are some things you need to know:
Giovanni Doll died from complications related to cancer.
It was revealed that Giovanni died in her sleep of health complications related to cancer in her sleep this past weekend.
One of her close friends who goes by Mrz Lawson on Facebook posted about her death and how devastating it was for everyone who knew her.
She wrote:
“#Forever21 Damn This Shyt Crazy Not My Baby Gigi Giovanni Doll Not My Baby Renee Naw Man This Shyt Can’t Be I’m Devastated I’m Hurt I Haven’t Cried Like This Since My Mother Passed Away Like That’s Was Our Bae We Talked Bout Everything N Anything We Was Jus Hangin Wit U On Saturday At #PalmerParkPride U Rode Wit Us N We Had A Good Time Its Always Laughs When We Get Around Eachother Wen U Got Out We Was Jus Having a Deep Good Convo We Was Laughing N Shyt U My B’day Twin Y U Had To Go So Soon Baby Man I Can’t Believe This Shyt True I’M HEARTBROKEN U GON FOREVER B MISSED GIGI BABE.” Giovanni was loved by her many friends and family and it appears her death was a complete shocker to all who knew her.
Giovanni and her girlfriend Jay Dor had broken up not long before Giovanni died.
Giovanni and Jay Dor had broken up and were not on good terms before she died.
According to posts from Jay Dor’s Facebook page, the two would often fight and call it quits, but always would eventually makeup and get back together.
However, this time was different because Giovanni sadly died before they were able to reconcile.
In one of her Facebook posts, Jay Dor spoke on a text message apparently behind their break-up that she found out was a lie.
She said if she had known the text was a lie, her and Giovanni would have gotten back together. She also posted another video speaking on their relationship and its many ups and downs. She captioned the video:
“She loved this shit here . Look at that smirk … I HATE WE HAD DOWN MOMENTS MAN IKNOW EVERYONE HAS THEM IN A RELATIONSHIP BUT I ALWAYS JUST WANTED YOU TO FEEL LIKE ME BUT IN THE SAME WAY I WANTED TO JUST LOVE YOU SO MUCH MORE THAN I COULD SHOW TRYNA BE A TOUGH PERSON AINT ALWAYS A GOOD THING NOW IM MISSING YOU SO MUCH.” In another video Jay Dor shared on her page she wrote: “Fought so much said so much bs to each other it whenever it was said and done we always made up baby.” Giovanni’s family did not want to have a candlelight vigil or balloon release in honor of her death.
Jay Dor was planning on having a balloon release on her girlfriend Giovanni’s behalf, but it looks like it was canceled due to Giovanni’s mother’s wishes. One of Giovanni’s friends, Mrz Lawson, posted a text message thread in which Giovanni’s mother told her she wasn’t having a candlelight vigil or balloon release, but would keep everyone informed on when the funeral was. Another one of Giovanni’s friends also confirmed this as well. Before taking her life, Jay Dor spoke on people having an issue with her doing a balloon release for Giovanni and how Giovanni’s mother gave her the approval, but just wouldn’t be in attendance. Jay Dor took her own life days after Giovanni died.
Following Giovanni’s death, Jay Dor posted several messages and videos showing how distraught she was over her death and the fact that they were broken up when it happened.
On Monday (Jul. 29), Jay Dor posted a video on her page in which she broke down into tears and spoke on how hard it was for her to deal with Giovanni’s death.
She also spoke on Giovanni helping her get her own house and how she tried to call her days before she died to make amends, but her phone was broken. Jay Dor continued to post on her page about Giovanni’s death and how badly it was affecting over the next few days.
She wrote in one particularly alarming message: “Dawg I feel like I’m dying giiiiiiiio baby dawg I’m fucking hurting dawg I’m hurt I’m so fuckn hurt.” Then things took a turn for the worse when Jay Dor began posting messages hinting that she was going to take her own life.
“Baby save room for me,” she wrote in one post. “I promise I’m coming for you.”
She shared in another: “I’m scared I’m not about to lie but I still gotta get to you.” Jay Dor’s friends commented on her posts and begged her not do anything to harm herself, but that didn’t stop her from posting about her suicidal thoughts.
“The pain I have behind these will soon be over like I have a sense of excitement because we gone be together again !!!!!!,” she wrote in one of her last posts. She followed that post with a farewell message naming close family members and telling them how much she loved them. She also posted another video speaking on reuniting with Giovanni. And a collage of their photos and videos together with the caption: “Baby I’m coming. True love”. In the final video posted on her page, Jay Dor said she simply couldn’t take the pain anymore. Below are her last two posts before she took her life. According to several sources, Jay Dor died by suicide after she jumped off a bridge into the Detroit River while on Facebook Live.
Below is said to be the video she posted on Facebook Live before taking her life. In the video (which has since been deleted), Jay Dor reveals to viewers that she is about to kill herself.
The clip disturbingly ends not long after Jay Dor appears to jump off the bridge. Jay Dor’s sister posted on Facebook hours before her suicide asking friends and family to keep her in their prayers.
Jay Dor’s sister Kahlia Verner was concerned about her sister and knew that she was hurting deeply.
She posted the following message on her page asking for everyone to keep her sister in her prayers as well as Giovanni’s family. Days before, she also posted a message speaking on how she knew her sister was going to deeply miss Giovanni. is a post from:
A kidnapping investigation quickly turned into a homicide investigation after Los Angeles police were made aware of video footage showing a man accused of kidnapping his missing girlfriend rapping about killing her and burying her body.
that a video filmed early Tuesday morning (Jul. 30) just hours before 27-year-old Monrovia kidnapping suspect Robert Anthony Camou was taken into police custody appears to show him participating in an open mic event at a local bar.
“I killed my b*tch and buried that b*tch in the f**king dirt,” Camou rapped about his girlfriend, 31-year-old Amanda Kathleen Custer, who had been missing since Monday.
He then mumbled a few words about being “out” because the cops are looking for him before walking out of the view of the camera. The people around him were visibly disturbed.
Police said they were aware of the video’s existence and were trying to get ahold of the original footage to make sure it hasn’t been edited.
“We want to make sure it’s unedited,” Deputy Trina Schrader, a spokeswoman for the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, . “If it’s edited, then in court people can poke holes in it.”
The man who recorded the video told reporters he had no idea who he was filming until he saw Camou on TV being arrested the next day.
“At first it was like, did he say that? He said that. And he said it with such force,” Michael R. Moore .
Moore said when Camou noticed he was being recorded, he stepped forward and stared straight into the camera. He said everyone in the bar was frozen with shock.
“I think that everyone in the bar that heard him kinda stopped. Time just stopped. And there were some hardcore rappers up in there, and they stopped,” Moore said.
Moore said after walking off the stage, Camou came up to him and asked him where he was going to post the video.
Moore said he told Camou he would be sharing it across all of his social media accounts, and Camou was, oddly, OK with it. “He said that was cool,” Moore said.
Robert Camou became the subject of a kidnapping investigation Monday (Jul. 29) when police found blood in his home in Monrovia after responding to a domestic violence call.
Camou’s girlfriend, Amanda Custer, was nowhere to be found.
Investigators believe Camou assaulted Custer and took her from the home against her will.
A witness told police they saw Camou putting Custer’s limp body in the cargo hatch of his Toyota Prius early Monday morning. It was the last time she was seen alive.
Camou was arrested Tuesday morning following a five-hour standoff in which he remained in the backseat of his vehicle. Police said Camou didn’t exit the vehicle until after they shot tear gas into the car.
Authorities said Camou was scheduled to appear in court the day Custer went missing for charges related to an April 22nd incident, but he never showed up.
He had also previously been charged with four felony counts, including burglary and assault and battery, per court documents filed on May 29th.
At the time Custer went missing, police said Camou was out on bail on domestic violence charges, and the victim in that case is also Amanda Custer (pictured below).
Police said Custer and Camou had been dating for the past two years, and throughout the course of their relationship, there were numerous allegations of domestic violence.
A restraining order filed by Custer back in February detailed Camou’s alleged obsessive behavior.
“He has made over 100 (phone) numbers to verbally bash me,” Custer said at the time.
She also described an uninvited visit to her home by Camou: “He turned around, came running at my window, and broke my double-pane window with the hatchet.”
Camou remains in police custody without bail on domestic violence charges and an unrelated burglary charge.

Patrick Swayze's life and career will be explored in the Paramount Network's I Am Patrick Swayze documentary.
The never-ending saga of Robert Sylvester Kelly’s court woes in relation to his pedophilia is like a daytime soap opera that you pray will just get canceled and go away, but it keeps on getting renewed season after season.
Last time we checked in with R. Kelly, for sex trafficking and sex with a minor. Most of us thought this was the final countdown for Robert because once the feds get ya, it’s usually a wrap.
But Robert seems to think his old-ass shenanigans, like the he threw in front of Gayle King, will work to convince the federal judge who already his trifling ass bail.
According to , R. Kelly’s attorneys pleaded on behalf of their client to have the judge reconsider his decision to deny him the opportunity to post bond. He also threw in that he would avoid contact with minors.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Kelly is asking the judge to reconsider the decision denying him bond in his federal case out of the Eastern District of Illinois.
The disgraced singer is trying to argue that he is not a flight risk due to his lack of resources, aka he’s broke.
Kelly’s legal team states, “Mr. Kelly no longer has the money or the entourage he once did to help him in his endeavors.”
The R&B star is willing to submit to electronic monitoring and home incarceration. He offers terms that would include no contact with minors and limited access to the Internet, which his team says will, “make it virtually impossible to attempt to contact any witnesses without being caught.”
I mean, the fact that he’s willingly asking for an ankle bracelet is impressive, but Robert has to realize that after 20 years of getting charged, locked up and tried for having inappropriate contact with minors, it’s gonna take more than just his word to convince a judge that he’s really gonna leave these little girls alone this time.

The Stand: Stephen King writing new ending to limited series adaptation
Stephen King’s 1978 post-apocalyptic horror/fantasy novel is being adapted into a new limited series for CBS All Access. But will set this series apart from its 1994 counterpart, and the novel itself, is a new ending, which will be penned by King himself.
As reported by , King is writing the script for the ninth episode of the series, which CBS All Access EVP Julie McNamara said will include “a new coda that won’t be found in the book.” “For fans of the book who have wondered what became of the survivors of the stand, this episode will contain a story that takes us beyond the book to answer those questions. A continuation to The Stand; we can’t wait to share that with the world.”
The 10 episode series from writers (The Fault in Our Stars, The New Mutants) and (SEAL Team), reveals that this is the way the world ends: with a nanosecond of computer error in a Defense Department laboratory and a million casual contacts that form the links in a chain letter of death. And here is the bleak new world of the day after, a world stripped of its institutions and emptied of 99 percent of its people. A world in which a handful of panicky survivors choose sides — or are chosen. A world in which good rides on the frail shoulders of the 108-year-old Mother Abigail — and the worst nightmares of evil are embodied in a man with a lethal smile and unspeakable powers: Randall Flagg, the dark man.
Boone, who has been developing the project for years, will also direct the series for CBS Television Studios. Boone, Roy Lee, Jimmy Miller, Richard P. Rubinstein, and Cavell will executive produce. Will Weiske and Miri Yoon will co-executive produce with Owen King serving as producer.

Running Out of Friends in this Town
Avery heads to Delroy’s to drink away his sorrows, but is hit with more bad news. Matt was in a car accident. Avery goes to the hospital and finds the sheriff sitting with Matt. Avery tells her that he’s been thinking. With Maria in the psychiatric ward, they’ll soon be getting a divorce. If the sheriff and Matt will stand with Avery, they can finally be together as a family. The sheriff tells Avery that she can’t forget how Avery turned Matt into a killer and then stabbed him. She hopes she’s the one to send Avery to hell.
In the hospital parking lot, the sheriff is attacked by Avery, who waits in the back seat of her cruiser. He stabs her through the seat and when she blacks out, he traps her in the trunk of the cruiser and sends it into the swamp, watching the car submerge in the water.

Liz heads to the video store to confront Danny about being the Blue Devil. Danny reveals that he is the devil, and that the devil is still chattering away inside his head. He thinks that there is a greater destiny out there for him.
Danny drives to the edge of town. Instead of slowing down as he nears the sign marking the barrier that has kept him trapped in Marais, Danny floors it. His mission complete, he passes through with no problem at all.
Healing Properties
Abby goes to Maria in the hospital to find out who the men are that have entered the swamp so she can find a way to get them to back off before they harm the Swamp Thing. At the hospital, Maria is plagued by the demons she stirred up when she tried to contact Shauna. Xanadu offers Maria peace, but warns that she may not be able to return from it. When Abby arrives, Maria is trapped in an illusion that Shauna is with her. Xanadu tells Abby that Avery is her best hope for answers now.
Woodrue takes his wife to the Sunderland house after she overdoses on her Alzheimer’s medication. She is mentally awake but physically inert, so he tapes her to a dining room chair while he slices and cooks the organs he harvested from the Swamp Thing. There’s not time to properly test the effects of ingesting the organ tissue, so he samples a bite before he feeds it to Caroline. Woodrue collapses, then revives feeling better than ever. His strength is enhanced and he feels attuned to nature.
Abby arrives at the Sunderland home, looking for Avery. When she sees Caroline, Abby calls 9-1-1, but Woodrue knocks the phone from her hand. He tells Abby that the only thing that can save Caroline is the plant specimens he harvested from the creature. Woodrue tries to feed a bite to Caroline, but Abby stops him. Woodrue chokes Abby for interfering. Abby is saved when a police officer arrives in response to the call and tazes Woodrue. An ambulance arrives to take Caroline to the hospital while Woodrue is arrested.
Abby returns to Alec’s lab. The Swamp Thing is there. He admits that he thought about wandering into the swamp and never returning, but doing so would mean losing his only connection to humanity in Abby. Abby says that she cares about him — not just the man whose mind and memories he carries, but who he is now. There is darkness and danger in the swamp, but there is a beauty that she’s only seen because of him, and she will stand with him to face whatever comes next together.
In the post-credits stinger, Matt returns to the police station to find the power out, no one there, and the place ransacked. Further investigation reveals plant matter has sprung up, freeing Woodrue from his cell. Matt encounters Woodrue, changed into a plant creature himself now.

The Wendy Williams Show just wrapped its tumultuous 10th season. And while the show will be back for season 11, it’s likely that it will be the last one.
A source that given Wendy Williams’ personal issues and health concerns, many of the staffers believe it’s time to move on and don’t anticipate the show being renewed past the 2019-2020 season.
“This was an extremely difficult season to get through for the staff and Wendy herself, obviously. With the show’s renewal set to end after the 2019-2020 season, everyone thinks it’s the perfect time to say goodbye move on.
“Wendy has enough going on as it is and honestly no one, including Wendy, is sure she can even make it through season 11. Not to mention, advertisers consider her to be a ‘risk’ due to her unplanned hiatuses and extended breaks. It’s very likely the show won’t be back.”
During what should have been a celebration of the milestone 10th season, the past year has been “hell” as Williams herself described it on the last episode of the season.
The host fractured her shoulder, slurred her words on-camera, had to take an extended two-month-long hiatus due to Graves’ Disease, for addiction treatment, and it all culminated in Williams from cheating husband/manager Kevin Hunter, which has all played out in the tabloids.
“This season has been, well, hell for me,” Williams admitted on the season finale. “I appreciate doing this show because it’s my one hour where I get to be fun and forget about stuff,” she continued.
“But through it all, my one joy—aside from my son and my family—is you. I’m not doing this show forever, but I will certainly be back for season 11.”
In addition to B. Scott’s source and Williams’ “not doing the show forever” comment, Page Six is also reporting that some of the Wendy show staffers are already . A source revealed:
“They are all well aware that all they have is Season 11 left, that’s guaranteed, but until [production company] Debmar-Mercury announces that they are renewing additional seasons beyond the next season, some staff have begun searching for jobs.”
A spokesperson for the show offered a spin, simply stating: “Wendy and her staff are closer than ever.” However, the statement did not mention the show’s future past season 11.
Season 11 of The Wendy Williams Show premieres September 16.

Floyd said in a statement that “everyone was well aware of [Mitchell’s] behavior,” including creator/executive producer Lena Waithe.
In an with “The Breakfast Club” following Mitchell’s firing, Waithe said she was first alerted to the allegations against Mitchell after The Chi‘s first season concluded.
She said sexual harassment training classes were held on set, and she went out of her way to call Mitchell personally to confront him directly over the allegations.
Waithe said that everyone involved handled the situation through HR, and everyone agreed to return for Season 2, however, Mitchell’s questionable behavior continued.
“There was definitely a conversation where I called him and got really real,” she said, adding that the actor never acted inappropriately towards her.
“‘You need to be respectful of any woman on set. You need to be respectful of everybody,’ she said she told Mitchell. “‘Don’t treat any woman differently the way you would treat me.'”
Waithe said she wishes she “would’ve handled the situation differently.”
Mitchell also faced allegations back in 2016, following his breakout role as Eazy-E in the NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton. An 18-year-old woman during a party at a hotel.
As a result of the latest allegations, not only was Mitchell fired from The Chi, but he was also dropped by his talent agency and management team.
He also lost his starring role alongside Anna Camp in the Netflix movie “Desperado” and was replaced by New Girl actor Lamorne Morris.
On top of that, MTV rescinded his 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards nomination for the “Best Performance in a Show” category for his work on The Chi. He was the only male nominee in the category.

Agents of SHIELD Season 6 Finale Recap
The two-part Season 6 Finale brings this season’s storylines to a head. Believing that Sarge is the only one strong enough to stop Izel, Daisy and May head with him into the jungle, where Izel has taken control of Flint and used him to rebuild the monoliths. Daisy and May hope to be able to separate whatever demon from the other side of the gateway lives in Sarge’s body from him, leaving the Coulson side behind. Sarge isn’t so sure that will work; if the demon is gone, what’ll be left of him?
The Shaw Drive
With the team maintaining radio silence, the rest of the SHIELD team at the Lighthouse is helpless to assist. Deke has an idea. He takes Fitz-Simmons to a previously empty floor of the Lighthouse where he has moved his tech startup. The group has built the slap bracelets that keep Izel from possessing people. Now they are working on a jump drive that could, theoretically, allow agents to teleport into the temple to free Mack and YoYo. Fitz yells at Deke about stealing tech, patenting it, and selling it for profit. Deke tells him that he built this company because he doesn’t fit in anywhere else. He’s a man out of time and even his own family thinks he’s a joke. Deke straps the jump drive to his back and teleports into the temple, freeing Mack, YoYo, and Flint.
Meanwhile, Izel has released her shrike onto a nearby resort. The infected begin to move toward the temple, forcing Sarge, May, and Daisy to fight, blowing the element of surprise. Daisy leads the infected away from the temple and back to the Quinjet, where she finds Mack and YoYo aboard. Mack and Daisy argue about the mission, with Mack still not trusting Sarge. The three barricade themselves in the disabled Quinjet, fighting off the horde of infected trying to get to them. During the fight, one of the shrike infects YoYo.
Deke, meanwhile, tries to teleport back to the Lighthouse, but the jump drive needs time to recharge. Instead, he is flushed out of the temple and through the jungle to another jet. Mack overhears Deke trying to hail the Lighthouse on the radio and talks Deke through the repairing the jet and piloting it over to rescue them.
Enoch’s Bluff
The Lighthouse isn’t answering Deke because it has been infiltrated and locked down by Chronicom hunters. All of the Chronicoms have been reassigned as hunters — including Isaiah, who is sent to Kitson to take out Enoch. The hunters know everything that Fitz-Simmons know about SHIELD protocols, including the emergency escape protocols. The hunters make their way through the Lighthouse, flushing out and killing SHIELD agents as the Chronicoms search for the Framework. Fitz-Simmons tell the surviving agents to head to the tech startup to hide; because Fitz-Simmons didn’t know about it when they were Chronicom captives, then the hunters won’t know about it either.
Fitz-Simmons head to where the Framework is stored and rig it with explosives. Hunters corner the couple. With no escape, the two prepare to sacrifice themselves to blow up the Framework, saving lives. Pinned down, the two are saved by Enoch, who defeated Isaiah and used his skin to infiltrate the hunters and save Fitz-Simmons. Enoch believes there is a way to escape, but it will mean forever altering the course of Fitz-Simmons’s lives.
The Temple
At the temple, May and Sarge confront Izel. Izel and May each try to get Sarge to join them. Sarge knows anger, fear, and pain. May tells him that’s love. Sarge now knows the only way to be rid of pain is to cut it out of himself. He stabs May with the sword and pushes her through the gateway to the other realm. In the other realm, life and death are meaningless. May removes the sword from her abdomen and uses it to take out the three guardians of the temple. Izel goes through the gateway and battles May on the other side, holding May off long enough to replace the stones that open the temple door, letting the rest of her people into the temple in order to access the gateway.
Daisy, Mack, and YoYo confront Sarge, who has wholly given himself to the demon. The demon is stronger than Daisy’s quake ability. He is stronger than Mack. While Sarge fights them off, YoYo is possessed by the shrike. Neither Daisy nor Mack has the will to kill YoYo. Sarge turns Daisy so that her back is to the gateway, threatening to torture her for eternity once his people come through. Izel comes through the gateway and is about to stab Daisy from behind when May follows Izel through and kills her. That cause the shrike to die, releasing YoYo. May throws the sword to Mack, who kills Sarge, closing the gateway.
“We Had Time”
May dies in Daisy’s arms, asking if there was anything of Coulson left. Simmons enter the temple with a team in hazmat suits. She tells the rest that May will be fine. May is put into a pod and her tissue will be revived once her body reaches the correct core temperature. Once the hazmat team has collected samples from the monoliths, the SHIELD agents board Zephyr-1, equipped with the jump drive. From the air, they blow up the temple and are remote piloted by Fitz –who is not aboard– to New York City. The landscape has changes, with the Empire State Building the tallest building by far, possibly the tallest building left in the world according to Simmons.
Simmons explains that the hunters are trying to turn the earth into Chronyca-3. They have Fury’s black box and access to centuries of SHIELD information. SHIELD is the only organization strong enough to stop the Chronicoms, but they need someone with vast and intimate knowledge of SHEILD and its history to stop them. To that end, Enoch has helped create SHIELD’s most advanced Life Model Decoy. It has Chronicom tech and all of its host’s memories. Simmons introduces the Coulson LMD to serve as Mack’s right hand man and help them defeat the Cronicoms.
